It's a sad day in Steeler Nation. Myron Cope, a beloved Pittsburgh Sports Broadcaster has died. More than any other person, Myron embodied the heart, soul, and ethos of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He invented the Terrible Towel, was a trend setter, a composer, and received many honors for his skills as a sports writer and broadcaster. Go here to read his full obituary.
Myron was definitely unique and eccentric. The outsider may call him a bumbling fool, but to Steeler Nation he is a poet. Others may find him unorthodox, but in Pittsburgh he was our Pope. sad to lose someone like that. a few years ago one of the Blue Jays broadcasters died. He had called every game for the first 30+ years of the team's history. it just didn't seem like blue jays baseball without him.
Interesting blog you got here. I'd like to read a bit more concerning that topic. The only thing I would like to see on that blog is a few pics of any devices.
